Parameters
The following table provides a brief description of each of the parameters in the Append datasets transform.
- Name:
By default, the transform name is populated. You can also add a custom name for the transform.
- Input Dataset:
The first dataset to append to the second dataset. (Required: True, Multiple: False)
- Input Second Dataset:
The second dataset to append. (Required: True, Multiple: False)
- Output Dataset:
The file name with which the output dataset is created after appending both the datasets. (Required: True, Multiple: False)
Sample input for Append datasets transform:

The output after appending two datasets appears as below:

How to use it in Notebook
The following is the code snippet you must use in the Jupyter Notebook editor to run the **Append datasets**transform:
template=TemplateV2.get_template_by('Append datasets')
recipe_Append_datasets= project.addRecipe([car_data, employee_data, temperature_data, only_numeric], name='Append datasets')
transform=Transform()
transform.templateId = template.id
transform.name='Append datasets'
transform.variables = {
'input_dataset':'car',
'input_dataset':'car',
'output_dataset':'car_append'}
recipe_Append_datasets.add_transform(transform)
recipe_Append_datasets.run()
